Automotive sourcing: frequently asked questions

Practical answers about sourcing, products, cooperation and the next steps. For a product-specific answer, send an enquiry.

Sourcing parts

How does sourcing work?

Start with your product requirements. We identify relevant manufacturers, clarify their capabilities, help compare proposals and coordinate the agreed next steps. Samples, product suitability and commercial terms are assessed for each project.

What information should I send?

A useful sourcing brief includes the product or reference number, vehicle application, technical specifications, indicative quantity and target timing. Share what you already know; personal follow-up can clarify the remaining details.

How are suppliers evaluated?

We request relevant company, product and export information for an initial review. Depending on the project, that can include technical documents and samples. The required checks and responsibilities must be agreed; we do not guarantee a supplier or product solely from an introduction.

Can I request samples?

We can help coordinate a sample request with a potential manufacturer. Sample availability, cost, shipping and evaluation criteria must be confirmed for the specific product.

Products & vehicles

Which components do you focus on?

Our focus includes sensors and electronics, thermal management, engine and fuel systems, selected braking and control components, steering and suspension, and selected EV and hybrid components. These are sourcing areas, not a live stock catalogue.

Do you cover cars, EVs and heavy duty?

Our sourcing focus covers passenger cars, electric and hybrid vehicles, trucks and buses. Please provide the specific vehicle application and references so suitability can be assessed.

Can you help source parts for Tesla or Chinese EVs?

You can enquire about a specific Tesla or Chinese EV application. We need accurate reference numbers and specifications before confirming whether we can help. We do not claim an official vehicle-brand relationship or verified OE supply status.

Are these products in stock?

The website describes our sourcing focus. It does not show live inventory or confirmed stock. Availability must be checked with the relevant manufacturer for your specific enquiry.

Will a part fit my vehicle?

The assistant cannot confirm fitment or technical suitability. Please share the exact part reference, vehicle application and relevant specifications in an enquiry brief for a product-specific review.

Selling in Europe

How can a manufacturer work with AlvenSina?

Introduce your company, core products, capabilities and European business goals. We assess the potential customer fit together, then agree the scope, responsibilities and commercial terms before beginning focused customer development.

What should a manufacturer provide?

Please share your company profile and website, main products and applications, manufacturing capabilities, export experience, available product documents, minimum order quantities and lead times. Avoid sending confidential files until the appropriate arrangements are agreed.

Which European customers do you approach?

The intended audience includes relevant automotive aftermarket distributors, wholesalers and other business buyers across Europe. Customer selection depends on product fit and the agreed scope of cooperation. We do not guarantee sales or disclose customer lists through this assistant.

Prices & orders

What are your fees or commission?

Fees, commissions and any representation arrangements are agreed individually for the scope of work. There is no published standard rate. Use an enquiry brief to describe your project and request a proposal.

Can I get a price or quotation?

A quotation needs a defined product, application, quantity and commercial requirements. Prices are confirmed for the specific enquiry; this assistant does not issue prices or binding offers.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities depend on the manufacturer and product. Share your indicative quantity so it can be discussed alongside pricing, packaging and sample terms.

What are the lead times and shipping options?

Lead times and shipping options depend on the product, manufacturer, quantity and agreed commercial terms. These need confirmation for each enquiry. We cannot promise a delivery date through the assistant.

Who handles importing, customs and VAT?

Importing, customs, VAT, invoicing and ownership responsibilities must be agreed for the specific transaction. The assistant cannot assign an importer or give tax advice. Please describe the proposed order and countries involved in an enquiry brief.

What are the payment terms?

Payment terms depend on the parties and the specific commercial agreement. This website does not take payments or place orders. Please do not enter bank or payment-card details in the chat.
